A former hospital social worker, Eleanor started Silver Spoon in 2016 after seeing too many seniors discharged home with no one to cook for them.

Director of Kitchen Operations

A career chef who traded restaurant lines for the community kitchen. Plans menus, runs food safety, and keeps 500 meals a day moving out the door.

Leads fundraising, grants, and corporate partnerships. Previously managed donor relations for a statewide food bank network.

A retired Madison family physician who chairs our volunteer board of nine community members and still rides along on a Friday route.

Recruits, trains, and schedules our 240 drivers and companion volunteers — and remembers every one of their birthdays.

Registered Dietitian

Designs every menu for the nutrition needs of older adults — soft-texture, low-sodium, and diabetic-friendly options included.

Founded in 2016 in Madison, Wisconsin. Silver Spoon Kitchen is governed by a volunteer board of directors and audited annually by an independent CPA firm.
